Register as an exporter with Department of Foreign (DFT)*

3. Register as a fresh durian exporter with Department of Agriculture

- Request for the Phytosanitary Certificate***

- Register as a fresh durian exporter (Exporter no. Du-1-xx-www)****

- Register as a fruit and vegetable exporter *****

4. Attach labels on packaging and sticker on durian stems as Department of Agriculture specified.

Labels on packaging

- Exporter name and Exporter no.

- Plant name and Variety

- Grade and Weight

- Country of Origin

- Expiration Date

- Other detail as per importer’s requirements

Sticker on durian stems not less not less than 2.5 x 15 cm. and Font size not less than 2 mm.

- Business Logo

- Exporter no. Du-1-xx-www

- Registration no. of the certificate of registration of a plant production factory DOA xxxxx xx xxxxxx

6. Making an exporter-importer identification card with Department of Foreign Trade (DFT) to issue Form ACFTA *******

7. Request for certificates and licenses as required by the importer, such as Health Certificate

8. Customs formalities, The Exporters must prepare the following related documents: Export declaration, Commercial invoice and packing list and certificate to show to the Customs Department both on export from Thailand and import to destination country.

9. Select the mode of transport because durian will be remain to fresh no more than 20 days and has a high heat release. To maintain the freshness of Durian, the transportation time is an important factor. Durian can be transported by road, sea, and air, but if the transit time is several days, it’s should be delivered in a Reefer Container with a temperature set at 13-15 degrees Celsius and a ventilation vent.

10. Exporters submit fresh durian export lists to the Department of Agriculture.
